Who are the Loveday Singers?
The Loveday Singers are a well-renowned choir performing a diverse range of music in a variety of styles, from sacred to musical theatre, and from jazz standards to choral arrangements of pop songs.
Based in Woking, Surrey, under the leadership of Anna Loveday, the choir rehearses and performs at All Saints Church, Woodham, and performs regular concerts at a number of venues in the local area.

In the past, they have taken part in several competitions, many of which they have won, both as a four-part mixed choir and also divided into The Red Ties (men's choir) and The Red Shoes (women's choir).

Part of our musical work is also to perform at weddings, funerals and other special occasions.

Anna Loveday is an Opera Singer, who has performed a huge number of roles from Bizet's Carmen to Richard Strauss' Klytaemnestra and many Verdi and Wagner roles in between.
As a Choral Conductor, she has directed many choirs over the years but has been running her own choir 'The Loveday Singers' for the last fourteen. She is very proud of the fact that some of the original members are still with her. Anna is keen to incorporate a diverse range of styles into her programming but all four to eight part choral arrangements.
Anna combines her musical work with a part-time position as Director of the S7 Consortium of Sixth Form Colleges, having previously taught music and performing arts and been a senior manager in a Sixth Form College, as well as having taught in primary and secondary schools early in her career.
